G-Cube Solutions: Equipping Life Sciences through e-Learning Solutions

CIO Vendor At a time when IT was at its doom, three fresh engineering graduates decided to take on the challenge to educate people through e-Learning. "We knew e-Learning will be a hot spot, as in the coming days, IT infrastructure was going to be better, computer penetration will be more intense and band-width availability will increase," says Manish Gupta, Co-Founder & CEO, G-Cube Solutions.

Manish along with two other friends predicted the future as augurs and incepted G-Cube in the year 2000 as an e-Learning products and services company based out of Noida.
After 14 years of its journey, the company has created a pool of experienced resources that helps G-Cube provide full gamut of e-Learning services ranging from e-Learning Consulting to e-Learning custom content – conceptualization of e-Learning units, instrumental design and development of content. The company extends its offering with e-Learning solutions such as Wizdom Room VCR, Wizdom Web LMS and Wizdom Assessment Engine. These platforms help organizations to deliver not just e-Learning to its employees but do real-time assessment, certification and even measure the skill gap within their employees and even those who are not on their payroll. These services are offered largely to Life Science, Pharmaceutical, BFSI, IT/ITEs and Manufacturing industry.

For Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical companies, the content solutions are created based on the needs of the clients ranging from orientation for new people to something as complex as SOPs, product & applications trainings, and quality assurance & compliance related programs. "As this industry is highly regulated, the trainings provided to the employees are at regular interval and is compliant with the industry regulations," adds Manish. G-Cube's e-Learning platform Wizdom helps such companies deliver all trainings, maintain compliance and cost in configuration with various standards.
While mostly such content are quit boring, it is G-Cube's responsibility to make it interesting enough in the form of audio, video, images, interactive quiz and others for the readers to trap their interest and engage them.

Equipping Life Sciences through e-Learning Solutions

Tipping the recent technological developments, G-Cube provides its solutions and trainings on mobiles and tablets through mobile apps to IVR (interactive voice response) as it is quite impossible for employees such as Nurses and MRs to always be available in front of their computers. For instance, when an MR is on his duty away from his desk, he still gets a call at the pre determined time. He gets to hear an update about his product or the compliance and have to take a quiz instantly over the phone itself.

G-Cube focus on vertical specific knowledge that it brings in, which is far ahead from other providers who may just have generic solutions around learning needs and not perhaps industry specific solutions or requirements. On the other hand, serving global clients have given the company a privilege over others. It counters the problems faced by clients globally and produces a solution for them. These solutions are then tweaked according to Indian context which helps the customers in India leverage a solution which is global in nature and more sophisticated but adaptable in Indian context.

The self funded organization has been growing exponentially over 30 percent year-on-year and wishes to continue doing so by focusing on niche segments through innovation and being domain oriented. Primarily based out of India, G-Cube has offices in the U.S., Canada and UK as well. Other markets like Australia, Middle East and South Africa are the emerging markets for e-Learning where G-Cube is planning to expand in the near future.
