We have experienced that many patients do not know which specialist doctor to consult for their symptoms and end up consulting three to four doctors before finding the right specialist. Thus, we developed this app where patients can search the doctors nearer to their location based on the symptoms," says Dr. Rao. Doctors and patients both get the option to register themselves in the app and consult, which brings transparency and accuracy for both parties.
The platform is built focusing on the digitalization of the healthcare system making it more transparent and accessible for all. Its avesall the previous consultations records and lab test data securely on the cloud which are easily accessible and sharable with the relevant doctor on follow up visits. Plexihealth's customers also get their diagnostic tests done from their home or office or anywhere just by booking through the mobile application.
"Our experienced phlebotomist visits patient's location and collects the sample for tests at reputed NABL accredited labs to obtain the accurate report with very minimal error. We are committed to delivering the test reports on time and error-free," adds Dr. Rao.
One of its unique services is its medical escort where a trained nursing staff accompanies the patient to the hospital or clinic for doctor consultation in the absence of attendants and drops the patient back home post-check-up. While talking about the platform Dr. Rao says, "Covid-19 showed us a new way of treating health problems with remote consultation which obtained successful results in many areas."
They started video consultation services during the pandemic and treated mild to moderate Covid-19 patients with remote monitoring devices. Following this, they carried out routine health check-ups at doorsteps for patients suffering from diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and kidney disease during the pandemic and lockdown where stepping out of the house was difficult.
